Towards east from Marrakech a comfortable drive(like 167 km / 100 miles) takes you to one of the fascinating waterfalls in Morocco. Oued Ouzoud drops into the canyon of Oued Alabid Impressive,try to descend into the coolness and freshness at middle of the canyon. Rainbow mists , moisturize the atmosphere,when you are in the middle .pools in its base ,the level of water can get changed from season to another the most spectacular is spring when there’s more.

You might spot the occasional Barbary ape under the trees (pomegranate,oak,grapevine,demand food,try not to feed them,otherwise you participate in changing their ecosystem), the biggest chance is at daybreak or before dusk when they come to drink in the river.

Many food stalls,or restaurants the best when you are in midway to get some food,then you decide to descend following countless stairs to the bottom to digest, and do a hiking tour, or be back upstairs till the park and drive back to Marrakech.
